Hangang Outdoor Swimming Pools and Camping Sites

Despite running through the heart of Seoul, the Hangang River also offers the perfect vacation spots with its outdoor swimming pools and relaxing camping sites. If you are looking for ways to enjoy vacations near your home or work without traveling to some exotic locations, the Hangang River is the ideal destination for you.

The Hangang Outdoor Swimming Pools, offering vast spaces for fun and perfect chances for enjoying the scenic views of the river, are open from June 23 to August 27 this year. These pools are located at Ttukseom Island, Yeouido Island, Gwangnaru, Mangwon, Jamsil, Jamwon, Nanji, and Yanghwa. Recently renovated, these swimming pools are welcoming increasing numbers of guests.

Transformation of the Hangang Outdoor Swimming Pools

The outdoor swimming pools of the Hangang River feature pools of varying depths and sizes catering to different age groups, from toddlers to adults. Equipped with showers, cafeterias, and even thrilling rides, such as Air Slides, these pools are especially popular around this time of the year. The Ttukseom Swimming Pool even provides shade against the scorching sun, while the Jamsil Swimming Pool draws in young guests with its Aqua Adventure facilities. The Yeouido Swimming Pool is a popular destination for enjoying water rides, including the Aqua Ring, the Water Cannon, the Spiral Tunnel, and so forth. The pools at Jamwon and Gwangnaru feature new bottoms. Lotteries are drawn to award lucky guests special gifts, while a host of new programs, including the Bubble Dance Festival and the skin scuba diving lessons, continue to entertain guests.
