Korean Accreditation Program for Hospitals Serving Foreign Patients
 


KAHF(Korean Accreditation Program for Hospitals Serving Foreign Patients) is a accreditation system which continue to set higher standards for Medical Institution for Foreign Patients.
Ministry of Health and Welfare selectively certifies hospitals for customized services and other patient safety commitments. Assessment criteria include fire Prevention, interpretation, translation of patients consent, follow-up care, appropriateness of personnel, infection control, monitoring of surgery, procedure, anesthesia care and other patient safety commitments. 

Accredited hospitals passed 130 strict standards and on-site scrutiny conducted by KOIHA(Korea Institute for Healthcare Accreditation).
